Welcome to Southern Cross University's Office of Regional Engagement

The team at the Office of Regional Engagement (ORE) serve as a gateway to encourage the exchange of information, ideas and issues between the academy and the wider community. The team at ORE works closely with our regional communities - from individuals and community based organisations, to business and government at all levels.

ORE hard at work

ORE's Engagement Facilitators hard at work out in the region. Lisa Francisco, Tweed Gold Coast campus, Sue Pratten, Coffs Harbour campus and Justin St Vincent Welch, Lismore campus.

The ORE strives to create and develop links between people - from the broader community and from the University - to enhance the interest and sustainable quality of life - socially, culturally, economically - for our regional communities.

So whether you're interested in accessing University staff, students or facilities, undertaking a collaborative research project, wishing to involve students in your organisation, or just want to know about the University in general then we invite you to contact us in the first instance.

The ORE website provides you with a snapshot of the way the Southern Cross University embraces engagement to support its core business of teaching and research and how it contributes to growing regional capacity through robust partnerships.
